Amanda Lane

Amanda grew up in New Zealand and trained as an animator and a graphic designer. She worked as a scenic artist and set designer for the Mercury Theatre and for TVNZ before going to work on many New Zealand and international feature films.

Amanda and Peter co-founded 3D Ltd in 1987. She has directed, designed, produced, and created many animations, logos and commercials. She is also an exhibiting fine art painter. More recently Amanda has been creating and designing content for 3D virtual interactive environments.

Both Amanda and Peter have something unique to offer with GalleryCentric. They are passionate about providing galleries and artists worldwide with the opportunity to hold online exhibitions in a 3D environment.

 

Peter Worrall

Peter grew up in London and trained initially as a modelmaker. Here he worked on his first film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

He moved to New Zealand in 1974 and was taken into the Barry Lett stable of artists and had a sell out exhibition after his first year of painting.

By 1978 he was a nightclub founder in San Francisco, a band manager for the Dead Kennedys amongst others and a recording artist with Rough Trade Records. Arriving back in New Zealand in 1986 he worked as a conceptual designer and storyboard artist on numerous local and international feature films.

During the next twenty years as the company director of the team at 3D Limited, Peter designed, directed and produced many animated TVCs, TV series, and promotional material for large corporate clients.

He has created software for specific events such as the Commonwealth games and world expos. In the last three years Peter has been specialising in the design and creation of 3D interactive virtual environments. Peter co-founded GalleryCentric with his wife, Amanda in 2005.
